Self Fragmentation: Foreword by Kit Carruthers
Every you that interacts differently with a certain group of people, or certain subsection of society, or in some cases certain individuals, that is a fragmented self. Any you that is altered from your baseline self is a fragmented self. Sometimes you'll temporarily fragment yourself out of stress, this is somewhat healthy action in the moment however you need to understand yourself. Sometimes you'll fragment yourself out of trauma, this is never healthy. A social self fragmenter who loses track of how many fragmented selves they happen to possess is in some fucked up territory, you can go to some fucked up lose yourself territory over self fragmentation.

You now likely, or at least really should, have a new fragmented self, the self that is capable of interaction with... Anybody, anybody at all you encounter on the street, anybody currently within society, who has not read the work of The Society of Social Disturbance. HOPEFULLY, you did not fragment yourself AT The Society of Social Disturbance and become the person enlightened by our words without realizing you were a lot of the things we need to fix, the person you're currently making fun of is yourself. Because that is known to happen. Here's your chance to pull out of it.

It's never really healthy, but, sometimes it's necessary. And when it's necessary it isn't exactly unhealthy... It's better than internal crisis. Just, always remember, this IS the path to dissociative identity disorder. The least healthy self fragmentation would have to be that of a prostitute, one who thinks they can live a life amongst the normals doing the normal people things, and then on the side has a wretched street life. This is a self fragmentation that is not necessary, this is a self fragmentation that requires a resolve, you need to be your normal self as a prostitute, if you want to be a prostitute you need to know you're a prostitute, it's fine, you're a prostitute, don't be so sexually repressed. You need to become the superficial edginess, you need to become the heartless bitch. There's nothing wrong with with this kind of personality, it just doesn't resonate very well with the society people.

The hooker fragmentation is pretty much the most severe one, it's an example of where you really are basically becoming two separate selves, sometimes one self will lose the memories of the other self, sometimes you'll start playing with the click line of psychosis and slip into what we know as multiple personalities but not quite dissociative identity disorder. The soldier fragmentation also touches this one it can go about half as bad, if you're not a sociopath you're not really cut out to be a soldier.
